" Pediatric physiotherapists employ clinical expertise in the early detection of health problems, treatment, education and management of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, cardiorespiratory or acquired disorders/diseases. Pediatric physiotherapists work with children of all ages, from infants through young adulthood to promote participation and functional independence. Pediatric physiotherapists have a unique role in that they not only work with the child, but also their families in the context of their daily home, school and recreational environment."

Physiotherapy services can be focused on building strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, motor planning and gross motor skills to allow your son or daughter to be as active in their life as possible.
Who do we treat
Pediatrics encompasses all ages from infant through to 18 years of age.
One may need physiotherapy for many different reasons ~ individuals we love to work with include:
* Children with developmental delays
* Children with neuromuscular or neurological diagnoses

Where does one receive treatment
We recognize that not every child is comfortable coming to a physiotherapy clinic. We also recognize that the clinic may not be the most appropriate location to have a treatment session based on the clients goals. Thus we offer our paediatric services in :
* The clinic
* Your home
* A community pool, park, ect.
